Hi, i’ve been looking for the right emails templates to change and this is driving me mad in EE3. In general settings i’ve set the following parameters: Where do I have to change this?? |
Are you not receiving registration confirmation emails at all? With this option:
Both yourself (the event admin) and the attendee should receive a confirmation email once they have clicked ‘Confirm Registration’ If you are NOT receiving emails try disabling the option
Then retry a registration. The emails from Event Espresso are passed to WP_Mail() which then does any number of steps depending on your server. So if WordPress can not send emails, EE can not send emails. To test this install a plugin such as Check Email and use that to send a test email, is that sent? (or try a password reset and check that email is received) |

Wordpress is sending mails through. No problem with that only not the right ones. I need these steps to happen:
Can this be done with EE3? I hope so! |
It appears you are looking for attendee Pre-Approval. Event Espresso will not work exactly how you are describing above. There is only 1 confirmation email (although you can have custom confirmations emails per event) however you could use the attendee Pre-Approval feature which basically allows the user to register then sends a pre-approval email (not customisable without editing code files) to state the registration is waiting for Pre-Approval to both the admin and attendee. The event admin then approves the registration and the attendee receives a ‘Payment Reminder’ email (customisable) which contains links to the invoice and a link to pay online. Once the attendee pays online the Registration Confirmation email will automatically be sent to the attendee and Admin. 1. Attendee registers onto the event. Will that work? Also to note, the Admin registration confirmation emails are currently not customisable without editing core files. |

Yes that is exactly what I’m looking for.

1. Go to Event Espresso -> General Settings. Within that page you will find the ‘Enable attendee pre-approval feature?’ option. Set that to Yes and save the settings. Then within each of your events you will have the option to enable the Pre-Approval feature for that event – http://take.ms/iU9MO With that enabled all attendees will need to be approved from within the Attendee lists for the event – http://take.ms/VxwA4 Change the Attendee Approved setting to Yes and click send the Invoice button to send the Payment Reminder email from that page. 2. To allow the admin emails to be customisable in a similar format to how the Confirmation emails are currently would require a significant rewrite to how EE3 handles those emails. We do have an open ticket to make the admin email functions ‘Pluggable‘ in a future version of EE3 which will allow you to override the core function with your own customised one, although this will depend on how comfortable you are with PHP. |
