Also: We did install a plug in with WP (Check Email Ver .03) and it resulted in WP sending email with no issue. |

Hi there Amy, Could you setup a transactional email service like Postmark app or Mandrill? Mandrill offers a generous free tier up to 12,000 per month. https://eventespresso.com/wiki/postmark-app-mandrill-transactional-email-handling-services/ — |

Thanks for the quick response. We set up Mandrill and we tested the Plug in first and we were successful in receiving email. When we try an email notification via Registration sign up, we get nothing. Is there anything else we need to look at between the two apps? |
|
Hi Amy, Is it the Event Admin emails, the Attendee emails or nether that you are not receiving? |
|
Tony, Both emails are not being received. |

Would it be possible for me to look over your messages section? If so please send temporary login details using this form: https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/ Are you using any other email plugins such as WP SMTP? We’ve not seen any issues with EE4 not sending ‘any’ emails when wpMandrill has been setup, so we’ll need to narrow this down some. |

Hi Amy, The emails are not sent until you reach the ‘Thank you’ page, one reason for this is prevent duplicate emails. When you reach step 2 of your registration (Here: http://take.ms/BrxHA) the registration is not complete and no emails will have been sent. For example if a user registers onto the event, inputs their details and receives a Pending Payment email at step 2 (where you select a payment method), then they select Paypal and complete the payment, they will then also be sent a Registration Approved message. So there was actually no need for the Pending Payment email. If you require users to receive a Pending Payment email to allow users to return to pay later currently you will need to enable the Invoice payment gateway through Event Espresso -> Payment Methods Users can select this and they will receive the pending payment email then. One thing I did notice was that the Pending Payment message type has been disabled. The Primary Registrant context had no value within the ‘To’ field, which disables that context. I have re-enabled this. I will also open a discussion to see if it is possible to send the Pending Payment earlier. |
