Hi there, I am trying to set up a few events for my foundation and I’m having issues with the format of the email confirmations. For some reason, the email that the admin receives is in strange colors and includes typos and irregular spaces. Please let me know how to change this email format to one that is readable and user-friendly. Best, |

Hi Courtney, Can you add a screenshot of the email here? Or forward a copy of the email to support[at]eventespresso.com so we can see how the email looks. It sounds like it is being marks as spam and your email client will then display it as plain text (which can do all kinds of wonderful things). |

Hi Tony, I just sent the screenshots to support@eventespresso.com. Please note that these emails did not end up in a spam folder so I don’t think that’s the issue. Also, when I send a test email to myself, the format is normal. Best, |

Not showing up in the spam folder unfortunately does not mean they have not been marked as spam. I’m can’t say that the problem just now but its something we have seen previously with some hosts mailservers. Can you forward the actual email onto support rather than screenshots please? Or better yet is there an event I can register onto to receive the email directly? Another option is to test a transaction email service such as one of the ones listed here: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/postmark-app-mandrill-transactional-email-handling-services/ Most have a free tier available and it takes the hosts mail server configuration of of the equation. |

Hi there, I just forwarded the email to support@eventespresso.com. Best, |

Hi Courtney, You’ll notice that there are random spaces occurring in various parts of the emails: event –> eve nt This is happening from the local email server. You can resolve this issue by setting up a free transactional email service which will then take over sending emails from the local email server.
