Just updated to EE 4.9.15 last night. Every time there has been an update available, our guests are unable to register for our events. They are unable to proceed to the payment options and/or the promotion codes stop working, making it so we have to update the plugin immediately. We have to update manually because we are working on a multisite.
There should be no correlation between an update being available and EE no longer functioning.
You could try this though: If you change the version number in espresso.php to an older version, that will trigger a version update notice. Then you can try testing a registration. If it fails, you’ll have an error message to reply here with.
