Hi support,

I want to import events (non recurring) to my website (csv file). I’ve seen some documentation on this topic on https://eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-import-events/

Is this documentation still up-to-date? I ask this question because in EE4 I can’t find the Import Events button. Question: where can I find the Import Events button in EE4?

Kind regards,
Marco

Hi Marco,

We currently don’t have an option to import events into EE4, that documentation is for EE3.

When viewing our docs you can see at the top of the page which version that specific doc is relevant to:

The way EE4 events are set up and the various relationships created within them means importing events gets really tricky to manage within a CSV file. We did at one point attempt to create an EE4 import feature but we found the structure users need to follow within the CSV caused more issues than the feature solved and so it was removed.

Eventually, we would like to reintroduce an import feature into EE4 but current nothing is available.

Aaah. I see. I didn’t look well. Sorry! 🙂
