Hi There, I have read a lot of posts to say that this is currently being looked into, the latest post i found is below: https://eventespresso.com/topic/send-reminder-emails-before-event/ Would you have any ETA at all as to when this may be released as this would be a very welcoming update the the application. Currently we are sending manual email reminders to our customers and this can be time consuming on occasions. Thanks, Rob |
Hi Rob, While nothing has been started with regards to an add-on, you can use the email newsletter template to bulk send a reminder to everyone that registered for an event. |

Hi Josh, Are you able to point me to the instructions to do this please? Thanks Philip |
Hi Philip, You can do that by navigating to the registration list for your event: Event Espresso -> Events -> {Find event} -> Click either of the 2 registrations list links – http://take.ms/TcOVj Select the registration you want to send the message to and click to send a batch email – http://take.ms/t3mjI When you click that button you’ll be shown a modal that allows you to select a message template to use input details used by the newsletter message type – http://take.ms/c4WFP You can input the details there and that message will be sent to all of the selected registrations. Note you can also create a custom message template for the newsletter message type within Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default Message Templates. Find the newsletter message type and click create custom – http://take.ms/QC9Ud You can then create a custom template that you can select in the modal shown above when sending if preferred. |

Hi Tony Is there a tutorial to learn to create custom messages/newsletters and include links to web pages etc? I also want to check exactly which email is being sent out during each stage when someone registers. Is there a way to do this? Thanks Fiona |
We have a wiki section on the messages system here: https://eventespresso.com/section/messages-system/ Creating custom message templates is done by clicking the ‘Create Custom’ button next to the template in the Message list. Adding links to external pages can be done in the same way you would within a page/post as the messages system uses the standard editor.
The simplest method to do that is to run a test registration on your event and then cancel the registration. |
