I’d like to play around with creating some very custom notification messages, and I’d like to do it without breaking the default messages, but I don’t see a way to “add new”…
I saw this post
EE4 Can’t Create Email Messages
…Which mentions the lack of a button. I don’t have this guy’s problem, and I don’t see an answer to the creation of new messages issue. Is there one?

Btw, I think it would be great if forum threads weren’t closed so quickly, or if there was a way of re-opening them. I think this reduces redundancy on the forums. Just my 2 cents. I know that you dev guys have your workflow & everything.

Hi,
EE 4.3 now allows custom messages via the Newsletter message type – https://eventespresso.com/2014/08/major-update-event-espresso-4-3/
The forum threads auto close after 2 weeks of inactivity – it’s a maintenance thing. We can and have re-opened threads where necessary but generally it’s better to create a new one and link to any previous ones.
