Hi, I searched the forums extensively but couldn’t find the exact method to change the text on the event cart pop-up window and the resulting event cart page. The pop-up window shows: “Return to Events List”, “There is currently (1) item in the Event Cart” and “View Event Cart”.
What I want to do is simply remove the word “Event” from that pop-up in all cases, as well as in all cases on the Event Cart checkout page(s).
We are using Espresso Events to register classes, so the word EVENT is not relevant.
Thanks!
There is a list of filter hooks and code examples in the Multi Event Registration documentation that show haw to change the name of the cart and other parts of the Multi Event Registration add-on.
Hi Josh, thanks!
I don’t know how to write functions to implement those filter hooks that don’t have code examples, but I will do some investigation and try to figure it out – comparing with the code examples that are on that page.
Thanks again for the quick response
The first code example in the documentation that’s linked to will change every instance of “Event Cart” to something else. Along with that, here’s a link to a wordpress.org support thread that has a really good explanation about how to use WordPress filter hooks:
Thanks much Josh!
I was able to figure it out and make the necessary changes.
