I have the calendar set up, needs some styling and fine tuning, but it’s working.
I am working on a convention that lasts only 1 week per year.
How do I get the calendar to only show the week (date range) that the convention (with numerous events) is occurring?
Even better would be to only show the 4 or 5 days the convention is happening. I can get it to start on the day of the week the convention starts at, but graphically speaking, I’d have more real estate if I only had the days events were taking place show up on the calendar.
Thank you!
I understand this plugin isn’t focused on convention use, and we have successfully tweaked EE to suit our needs. However, not being able to limit the calendar to a date range makes the calendar useless (or at least tremendously ugly). Our developer can tweak the JS but it’s a lot of work and there are other calendar plugins out there that will suit our needs much better.
I hope in a future update you allow us to choose a date range to show on the calendar. We can’t be the only team requesting this rather simple feature. Additionally, this calendar is far from responsive and somewhat useless in mobile, unless we switch to a purely image-based event.
The shortcode that I shared moves the calendar to begin on a certain month. While that won’t show a single week, it should show a specific month by default.
