EE4 tickets work differently than EE3 and use the Ticket Scanner add-on to scan tickets, this can be done with a physical barcode/QRcode scanner, or mobile app that is capable of passing the values over to your browser.
I’ve had a chance to test this now using the Barcode Scan to Web on an iPad. As far as I can see, I can get the check-in approved via the QR code scan.
On the barcode screen, I can see the name of my event and the datetime. I set the first dropdown to Continuous Scanning or Continuous Check-in only, the QR code is read and then the page refreshes, meaning we would have to then select the event again for the next attendee. Does this sound correct to you? I realise it’s got to submit the form, but would have hoped that there was some way of getting back to focus on the same event ready for the next ticket.
Then on the second and third tickets, I get an error message:
An error has occurred:
Missing required registration url link code from the request.
