Hi, [I had asked this question to the Community Forum because I couldn’t post to the Premium Forum, but that has been fixed. I apologize if it’s bad form to post to both groups, but I posted 2 days ago, got a response asking for more information, but haven’t heard any more in > 24 hours]. While registering for a class using EE3, a client selected one option but was charged for a different option. Also, in the confirmation email, the date and time are missing from the table. Here’s a screen shot of the confirmation email showing the correct option, the settings with prices for each option, and attached PDF showing the incorrect amount for the selected option. http://i.imgur.com/B6fVBvL.png My EE3 version is 3.1.37.8.P and I do not have any caching plugins. The client did not register for any other classes. Can anyone help? Thanks!

It looks like someone may have edited the attendee record in the admin. In which case you should be able to edit the attendee record so it has the correct ticket type. |

Hey Josh, Thanks for your response. It has the correct ticket type, they were just charged the wrong amount. The email and PDF are sent right after payment is received, with no time inbetween for any attendee editing. The date and time are missing from the email. |
Are there any customizations made to the PDF template or function? |
|
|
No. But it’s not just the PDF, the wrong amount was charged to PayPal. |
Since you mentioned in the other thread that you do not have any caching plugins, can you contact your host and check to see if the server uses caching at the server level? See also: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/setup-nocache-exclusion-rules-event-espresso/ |

Hi, host does not have any caching either. |
Can you reproduce this issue if you register for the same event and select the same ticket? |
|
|
No |
I can’t really either, except if I select one price option, then at checkout hit the back button a few times to get back to the registration form page, then change the ticket selection, then proceed to payment. Then the first email that gets sent is the one price, but another email goes out with the other price. I’m not sure how that could be prevented, but you could look into upgrading to Event Espresso 4 as it has the Single page checkout which helps avoid the above scenario. |
