I have the following and am wondering what I would not have access to if I upgraded to EE4. I would also like to know if I do upgrade to EE4 will my EE3 purchased modules be available for DL (free) when the time comes. Thanks,

To be sure that I’m understanding this correctly, I can’t go to EE4 yet because the modules I have purchased are not available yet. But I will get free access to those modules when they are available so long as they do not cost more than the EE3 modules?
Will there be a release schedule of the EE4 modules?
Where will the notification of the price change be published?
Will there be a time frame to install the EE4 modules before the price change?
What happens if an EE3 module is created in EE4, then the EE4 module’s price change occurs before all the EE3 modules are converted? If this situation is possible, I would be forced to upgrade to EE4 with loss of functionality or pay the EE3->4 module price. Correct?
Thanks for your time explaining this.
I really want to go to EE4 but it doesn’t appear the modules are developed yet.

Hello,
We are developing addons for Event Espresso 4. We recently released the Calendar addon and some other are in the works such as MailChimp and a promotions system.
The price change has already occurred. If you need certain addons that are available for EE3, then we recommend continuing to use that version.

I’d really like access to the multi-ticket processing (not sure if that’s the right description).
The ability to add multiple events (time and/or date independent) on the same ticket.
I saw that feature some place but cannot find it now. I must say that generally it is difficult to determine what is available today and what is not.

Yes! That. If I go to EE4 will that be available? I guess I’m confused about what I would lose if I went to EE4 now. I realize that may seem like an idiot question.

There are no silly questions.
That is available in Event Espresso 4 right now. However, these addons are not currently available for EE4:

Social Media
Roles & Permissions (BASIC)
Multiple Event Registration
Custom Files
Social Coupon Integration
MailChimp Integration
WP User Integration
You can use a plugin like Addthis or a similar social media plugin for sharing events in EE4. MailChimp for EE4 is on the way.

Thanks for the specific list. If I go to EE4 how much will those Add-ons be since I purchased them in EE3?

If you have an EE3 license with those addons then you’ll also receive access to those addons for EE4 as they become available.
