If I remember correctly, the Infusionsoft system should only create new products for events if that product does not already exist. Is it creating a unique product each time, or are they all duplicates? Can you capture a screenshot of the products it’s creating?
Thank you for replying, The product already exists, but still when the order is placed it creates a new product in Infusionsoft with the same SKU number as of the product already created.
Here is the screenshot of our Products page at the Infusionsoft site dashboard. As you can see, every time an order was placed, a new product was created.
We have discussed it with Infusionsoft, they are saying Infusionsoft doesn’t add a product unless it is manually added by Client or 3rd Party API ( i.e Espresso ).
This is quite frustrating, and causing a lot of trouble for us. Please look into it, your help highly appreciated.
What you’re seeing is likely what happens if there is either a) some html or b) some windows-style line breaks within the Event description. It turns out that the Infusionsoft can choke on things like this. There’s a fix for this issue in a development version of the EE3 infusionsoft add-on that you can download here:
Alternatively, the current version of the EE4 Infusionsoft add-on (for Event Espresso 4 users) has been updated with a fix to prevent the duplicated product issues.
Currently we have an Event and then further three ticket categories for that particular event.
What the plugin does right now is create a new product for every different ticket, but it should consider all the different ticket prices to be one product.
is there any possible solution for this?
I’m not sure, I think there could be if Infusionsoft allowed for more than one price input per product.
