We’re using EE 3.1.31.1 and although we have Shipping Address Options set to “Do not prompt for an address” when someone goes to checkout and is transferred to Paypal’s site, it still asks for their address and returns a shipping fee. Any ideas?
It turns out that in July 2013, Event Espresso 3.1.34 was released, and one of the changes included with that release was a new option to override your PayPal account’s shipping preferences when EE3 sends the transaction info to PayPal. So one idea is you update to the latest version of EE3, then you can check the box next to the “Override Profile-Based Shipping” option in Event Espresso > Payment Settings > PayPal Standard Settings.
