Is it possible to send all the normal email confirmations for all events but on select events send an additional email? For example, if all the event registrations get sent to the primary admin can we have certain events also send a registration confirmation email to a second admin? We have a general events manager but if certain events use a second employee and it would be helpful to have the ability in EE3 to send that staff member a confirmation letting them know that their specific class has another attendee.
Yes. You go to edit the event, and in the Event Options box there’s a field that says: CC Email Address (optional). You put the other email address in that field.
The difference in the label you’re seeing is more than likely because you’re running an older version of EE3 (it’s recommended to keep the software up to date). In later versions of EE3 the label was changed to more accurately reflect what would happen. In either case, the field acts like a cc field so the regular admin will get the email too.
