EE3 – Eway Rapid 3.0 User Details

Hello,
It appears that since updating to the latest version of EE3 (3.1.37.5) event attendee’s personal details are not being correctly passed to Eway using the Rapid 3.0 gateway. When I log onto my Eway account the Firstname, Lastname and Email address of the attendee are not recorded, the event name is being recorded OK as “Invoice Description”. The payment is still successful; ie the credit card number, CVN and Card Holder’s Name are being passed across OK.

This has specifically been observed with “Allow Group Registrations” = “Yes” and “Additional Attendee Registration info?” = “No Info Required”. Still should pass the primary attendee’s details across though.

Hi Rob,

I looked into this and it turns out the Rapid 3 gateway doesn’t send event attendee’s personal details, and it didn’t in previous versions as well.

Was your copy of the Eway Rapid 3 gateway customized before so that it would? If so, then updating to the current would wipe out the customization. The other possibility is if you use the classic Eway gateway, that one sends attendee info over to Eway.
