No you’ll actually need to update to the current version of Event Espresso 3, which at this moment is Event Espresso Version 3.1.37.12.P. You can download the current version from your account page.
There are a few different fixes that have been included in EE3 since the version you are using so its broader than character limits (although that’s one of them due to changes in WP)
Just a quick follow up question – it seems from what I can see in the change log, that none of the fixes (other than regarding the character lengths ) relate to new WordPress versions, but are about other issues?

Some are about other issues, but there are more than a few fixes included in EE3 since 3.1.32.2p that deal specifically with changes in WP core. EE3.1.32 doesn’t even have some of the compatibility fixes for WordPress 3.6.
