We are not receiving admin notifications for event registrations. We are also not able to use automatic upgrades to upgrade EE3 even though our licence ends 2016. Thanks |

Hi, How are you today? Do you mean all EE3 emails to administrators? When did this start happening and did you make any changes around the same time? Did you update manually from one version to another? Do you use any email plugins (e.g. Mandrill or smpt)? |

WHen being sent back to the /thank-you page, I noticed that the registration says pending with a caution symbol? |

Hi, the event admin should receive notifications automatically. Are you using a transaction email service like Mandrill or Postmark App? Also, what payment option are you using on your site? — |
|
Hello, We are using PayPal and are not using an email service. The client is receiving notifications however the admin is not. |
|
Alright, could you ask the client to check their SPAM or Junk Email folder to see if anything appears there? Also, is this a custom email that is part of the domain or does it run through another email service such as yahoo or gmail? — |

Hi Lorenzo, I tried switching the primary contact email to redacted – Event Espresso support team – LOC and that email was able to receive the admin notifications. Any ideas? |

This has been resolved. Mail was being routed through an SMTP plugin! |

Hi, glad to hear you were able to get this working. I wanted to share some additional feedback: 1) I removed the email address since our support forums are partially public 2) SMTP plugins may use a personal account such as a GMail address or a Yahoo address to send emails. I don’t recommend this approach as personal email accounts are not intended to send a lot of emails and some of them have daily limits. If you are using a personal email account via an SMTP plugin, then a better option is to use a transactional mail service such as Mandrill or Postmark app: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/postmark-app-mandrill-transactional-email-handling-services/ Then both have a generous free tier available. — |
