EE showing failed payments but payment has come through

This is an annoying one. We are receiving payments in paypal but in event espresso the registrants show as abandoned or payment failed.

Anyone seen this before?

Also some of the names go missing from time to time under the name column. I’ve seen them and noted them down and a few hours later they have disappeared.
