I have the event expresso calendar running on this page
surfballard.com/seattle-stand-up-paddle-rentals-and-sales/online-rental/
No events are loaded up and all I see is a spinning gear.
In the console I eventually get a 500 error from this call

Hi there,
We actually looked into this issue about one year ago for your site and reported what we found here:

At that time it helped get the events to display again by changing the shortcode to include show_expired=false, and changing the Calendar’s settings for Display Attendee Limits (set to No) and Disable Categories (set to No).
It was also recommended to switch to a recommended web host (instead of GoDaddy). In order to avoid the 500 errors and the slow calendar you’ll probably need to upgrade to a better web host.
