Morning. I’ve been using the app๐ to see who has booked and confirm names for each event.
I would like to use the Check-In option to confirm who has turned up as a reference point. I am faced with the following message when I select a user and press check in button in the app:
‘No route was found matching the URL and request method’
I’ve looked for an answer but just need some more details on of this can be fixed
The above usually means your site is set up to be HTTP and is then redirecting all requests to HTTPS.
The requests sent via the all up until you are trying to check users in a GET requests, there’s no real ‘issues’ with redirecting those. However, the request to check-in is a POST request, your can’t redirect POST request as you lose the data sent on that request (which is why you get the above error).
First, on your site go to Dashboard -> Settings -> General.
Are the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) set up using HTTP or HTTPS?
Got it working in the end Tony. Needed to add https:// when the app asks for the website address. I was using www. and as soon as I adjusted it all worked swimmingly. Thanks
Hmm, odd. The apps should be able to work that out for you but it does depend on how the server is set up I suppose.
Either way, I’m glad you found a solution ๐
Any further problems just let us know.
