It turns out that the thread you linked to is out of date. The Receipt message template that you can edit is also called the Order Confirmation. Does that help?
Sort of but it’s a bit confusing. The message for “Receipt” is actually headed Order Confirmation which is clearly not the same as a receipt. Perhaps this should be called “Order Confirmation”?
There is another message called “Payment Received” which should probably be called “Receipt”
