I want to edit the registration css file but don’t know wich file I need to edit, can someone help me with this, I use Sterling theme on a 4.0 wordpress version, just updated event espresso, it is a new installation.
The registration form uses a lot of your theme’s own styling. To alter this I would recommend overriding the current rules rather than altering the core files.
The reason for this is if you alter the core files themselves your alterations will be lost on each update. There are a couple of options when adding custom styling, we recommend using either the My Custom CSS or Reaktiv CSS Builder plugins to add custom styles.
You can also do this using a child theme, although the two plugins above are easier if you just need to apply some css.
Hi,
thanks for the quick reply on this topic, I have just one other question:
I just added the plugin, my-custom-css but I think I need to configure some options in the event espresso files, isn’t is?
Do you mean configure files so that you can use My Custom CSS?
If so then no you just use the My Custom CSS section within the Dashboard to add your styles. This will override your current styles.
It depends on what you are trying to achieve, if you can provide details on what you would like to modify we can suggest ways to achieve it.
