This is most likely an easy fix but I have searched and searched and cannot find where the problem is. The “from” e-mail address shown in the confirmation e-mail that is generated when someone registers for the event using Event Espresso is incorrect. Where do I edit this? I’ve looked in my settings in Event Espresso and WordPress and cannot find where this old e-mail address is pulling from.
This can be edited by going to Event Espresso > Messages > Default Message templates. Each of the email templates there has a From: field where an email address can be entered.
If you find there are shortcodes already in the From: field, you’ll likely see this shortcode: [CO_EMAIL]
The [CO_EMAIL] shortcode will parse what’s set in the Primary Contact Email field on the Event Espresso > General Settings page.
So if the email templates have the [CO_EMAIL] shortcode in the From: field, you can change the email address set in the Event Espresso > General Settings page and that change will apply to those emails.

Thank you. I don’t see where “messages” is but I did find the E-mail settings under the Event Espresso general settings page. I do see the e-mail template but I do not see the “from” field or [CO-EMAIL] shortcode.
The e-mail address on the general settings page is the correct e-mail but it is not the one that is populating in the registration confirmation e-mail.
Any other help is appreciated. Thanks!
