There have been two duplicate transactions meaning payment was taken twice. It seems like the user may have refreshed the page perhaps during submission. However, I’m not sure and wondered if anyone had experienced this before. They occur within about 5 mins. It has happened previously but it’s very rare.
Then they may have registered twice. Have you contacted the individual to find out what their intent was? If they did not intend to register twice (maybe they hit the back button thinking they could edit their first registration, but ended up doing the whole process twice) you can send them a refund and cancel the extra registration.
Thanks for your reply, they have been refunded. They did not register twice but they did not provide any information in relation to whether they tried to edit but I’ll ask. It’s just quite odd that there were two customers that had duplicate transactions.
The timestamps being 5 minutes apart indicates they did the process once then managed to submit a second registration 5 minutes later.
