I am receiving multiple notification emails every time someone register for the event. I checked the registration list, and it shows only one registration per person. The first time I received 8 emails from the same registration, now I’m receiving 3 emails per registration. A client came back asking us if he registered multiple times because he also received the same amount of emails.
When they’re only listed once like that, that’s an indication that the email server is sending duplicates because it’s not getting a receipt from the recipient. In other words, the email server doesn’t get notification that the email was received, so it sends another one.
You could check with your host about this, but a simpler, more effective way to avoid issues like this one is switch over to use a transactional email service. We have a guide with some recommendations:
