Double registrations after page refresh

Hi,
I am experiencing some double registrations, caused by incidental users that refresh the confirmation page for some reason.

I am not using payments, I have set Invoice Payments, but I am not using the invoice features. The last page the user gets after registering is the conformation page (payment_page.php).

Everything works okay, except when they refresh this page, the registration is doubled, including the emails.
For now I have added a warning not to refresh the page.

Is there any way to prevent this from happening?

WP version 3.7.7

Hi,

There should be a JavaScript notification warning them that they will override their details if they change/refresh the page.

If they have JavaScript turned off they wont see that. Other than that warning there isn’t much that can be done about it unfortunately as the system will always add a registrant at that point.
