Does EE require exec() / exec.php or url_fopen functions?

We are looking to move our website to a WP managed hosting provider. The provider has asked us to verify that EE does not require exec() / exec.php or url_fopen functions, which have been disabled in their hosting environment, for security reasons. (They do support CURL as an alternative to url_fopen).

Thanks!

For the most part this will be ok. The only areas I can see that would have an issue with it is the PDF generator for tickets. I will raise a ticket on this as really it shouldn’t be reliant on this.
