Hello… I am currently running EE3 because EE4 doesn’t have recurring events… anyway… I am about to Cha he the theme of my entire website for 2017. In doing so, when I switch from one theme to the next (say I did it today) would I loose either to ticket records of all the tickets purchased, attendee records for upcoming shows? Also will I loose my existing database of all my clients / tickets past?

Hi there,
Simply changing your theme will not cause any problems with the EE database.
It is possible, but it would be the theme wiping the database itself rather than you changing the theme and I don’t know of any themes that do this.
You will not lose any registration/event data but if you are unsure you can create a copy of the site locally and switch themes there (use a plugin such as Duplicator to clone the site and use the clone site to test changes) or create a database backup before changing any settings, you can use BackUpWordPress for that.
