I would like to have the price paid and the promo code displayed on the confirmation email I receive when someone registers for my event.

Hi Ken,
With EE3 you can not change the admin email to include custom details.
With EE4 we designed the ‘messages system’ to allow you to alter any of the messages sent out by Event Espresso.
Looking at your site it looks like you are currently using EE3, is there a feature preventing you from updating to EE4?

Hi Tony,
I tried EE4 shortly after its release, but found it took too much time away from my core business so I switched back to EE3. Can a promo code used and the price paid be displayed on the confirmation email I receive? In short, can you provide the solution. I realize a fee is involved.

Hi Ken,
It’s possible to add those for EE3 but it involves some PHP development to do so (unlike EE4 where you just use shortcodes and you can edit the email right from within the WordPress dashboard). I see that you have a few support tokens on your account and you could redeem those if that’s your plan. If you can complete the Redeem a support token form from your account page we’ll be able to work up something and add it to your site.

Hi Ken,
Can you update the FTP account so it can access the files where WordPress is installed? The reason I ask is because the account information you sent can only access an empty directory on your server. Thank you.

Hi Ken,
I added a plugin to your site and activated it. Its name is “Customized Event Espresso Admin emails” and it adds the promo code (if applied) and the amount page to the admin confirmation email. If you want to keep a backup copy of the plugin you can download it here.
Please be sure to delete the temporary FTP account that has the information you posted earlier about in this topic.
