Using EE4
I saw another post that seemed to have exactly what I’m after but WP just spat out the shortcode instead of the info.
I tried both of these:
[ESPRESSO_VENUE_EVENTS id=2053 category_identifier=WILM Southern California]
[ESPRESSO_VENUE_EVENTS id=2053 category_identifier=”WILM Southern California”]
And got nada. Aside from the calendar plugin (which is a no go because I don’t want to show the calendar) is there a short code that accomplishes this or am I looking at custom code?

Hi there,
The [ESPRESSO_VENUE_EVENTS] shortcode is from EE3, I’m guessing you are using EE4?
Event Espresso 4 doesn’t have a shortcode to display events by venue, but there is a code snippet that can be added to display an event list on each venue page:
