Which email are you wanting to edit? The one sent to the registrant, the event admin or both?
The screenshot you’ve sent is from the Registration Approved message type and is the Event Admin context which is different from the instructions I provided above.
What it looks like you have done there is empty the ‘[QUESTION_LIST]’ section rather than remove the call for it.
