is there a way to disable payments methods for a certain event.. ie we accept Authorize and Paypal standard.. but this particular event we want only to accept Paypal .. but Authorize should still be available for other ongoing events…?

Hi there,
The Payment Methods Pro add-on will allow you do to this.
With that add-on active you can select which payment methods are visible on an event, within the settings you’ll see something like this – http://take.ms/EcE15
On that specific event the PayPal Pro payment method will not be visible.
Is that what you are looking for?

I am pretty sure I have “Payments Mehtods Pro” (purchased last year) I have AuthorizeAIM and Paypal Standard active but i do not see the choice like you show in the screenshot..
Can i send you my login?

The Payment Methods Pro add-on was only very recently released (19th of this month) however there was a beta version available on GitHub prior to that for testing.
That version worked differently than the current version and did not allow you to select payment methods in the same was the current version (you used meta keys within the event extra meta fields to display payment methods).
Currently, you do not have the Payment Methods Pro add-on available on your account so you would need to purchase the add-on to use the latest version.
