Hi, I am using the shortcode to load my events and have modified the I am also using FacetWP on the page with the shortcode to filter the events. Initially, the page loads fine with the custom look I made. When I apply a filter all the right events are shown (which tells me the FacetWP query is working correctly) up but the template for the event is different. The template shown has the following in this order: 1. Title Do you know which template file this is so I can modify it to achieve the same look as when the original shortcode is called? If not, how can I determine which file is being called on? Thanks in advance! |

Hi there, When I test this I’m getting the same template used on both the initial page load and the filters events when using FacetWP.
This sounds like something WPFacet is changing rather than EE, can you link me to the page so I can take a look?
This is likely something you’ll need to take up with FaceWP but I’ll know more if I can view the page. |

Ok, that doesn’t look like a different template, it looks like different content on the same template and it doesn’t happen for me when using the latest version of your template you posted. Have you made more changes to that template since? |

I am not quite sure what you mean by template vs content. I haven’t made any changes since. What are you referring to by latest version of my template? For me when I first load the page everything looks great, once I apply a filter the content for specific events is removed such as the register now button, and description. |

The template says load X, Y, Z in order A, B, C right? The content of the template is created as the template parses, so the template in use is the same for both the initial page load and the facet load looks to be the same, but the content generated by those templates differs. Why that is happening I can’t tell, it’s not happening for me locally.
The Pastebin you included in your previous thread here: https://eventespresso.com/topic/ee-critical-error/#post-31837
Yeah I can see it happening on your site, but using the above template locally and setting up WPFacet as you indicated to do so works fine for me locally. Looking on your site when you select a Facet you can view the request and see that the template it is calling is the default wp template (which is actually your custom template), meaning its the same template just for some reason returning different content. |
