Hi Tony I sent you an email to where I sent my original credentials with a desperate plea for assistance over the weekend and with no response. This is the email I sent at 1.22am on Sat morning after my 3rd full night of trying to fix up ërror issues on submission of form as below. Could you please see my email from that time directly to you with images of the errors that are coming up. It is very distressing not getting any help with a product that should be so simple to use. I have set up as per instructions. This is the email I sent. HI Tony This has become a desperate plea for you to help me. I do not know what is going on but there is seriously something going on with this plugin. I have spent 3 nights at about 7 hours trying to get things perfect for the client and each time I try something it doesn’t work and then I might get a glimmer of something working and I get all types of error codes as per the last emails sent eg. array errors. (TONY I HAVE SENT SCREEN SHOTS VIA THE EMAIL) The client has asked for specific fields to show up for each so its not very straightforward. First of all I have 2 types of tickets, single tickets where you select qty and then there are the family passes –I have separated these as you only need 1 of these tickets and therefore with 4 registrants I have to create 3 more lots of fields to this section. I cannot put these fields in the personal information section as it brings them all into the single tickets so instead of when you select 1 ticket here it will show 3 further registrants names. If I select 2 single tickets it will bring up 8 registrants. http://www.rainbowsportsclub.com.au/early-bird-registrations/ (PLEASE TRY SUBMISSION ON A FAMILY PASS TO SEE ERROR) I tried to do the additional groups and adding 3 further groups of Registrants eg. Reg 2, Reg 3, Reg 4 to add to the family pass (Personal Info is Registrant 1) which I could select to add for the family passes so that I had 4 different groups showing but for some reason when I do this I get all sorts of array errors. The only way anything seems to work is if I keep the primary group and one other group but as soon as I start adding any further groups with dates of births, dropdowns… errors everywhere.. PLEASE I am begging you to assist with this. I cannot afford to keep the short emails going back and forward as I am desperate to figure out why this plugin is not working. Version 3 was so simple and worked perfectly. These are the types of errors I am having. The errors for the field #s change all the time depending on where how I have added the questions. I hope to hear from someone very soon that can assist. I am at my wits end. |

PLease note the SINGLE FAMILY PASSES are working.. Just the FAMILY PASSES are throwing errors. |

Thank you Tony I have paid for 1/2 support – I do hope you can assist as soon as possible. I have tried switching off all plugins, etc with no luck. Please note its on the FAMILY PASSES that are having the issue. the single passes are working beautifully. I hope you understood my email regarding 4 lots of information to be completed within 1 ticket purchase for family passes. I have tried various ways to get around this but as soon as I add an other question category thats when things seem to start throwing errors. I have tested adding, removing etc. and still issues. I will use my support time for when and if needed. Please let me know asap. Just not sure what to do from here. Thanks |
Hi Rosemary, The ‘Custom Event Espresso Event Displayer’ is a 3rd party plugin that is compatible with EE3 so I went ahead and disabled that plugin. I can see the problem with the family passes. Currently you have 4 question groups assigned to the Primary Registrant. Each of those question groups has a mixture of the same questions assigned to them, so this is confusing Event Espresso as the same question is used a minimum of 3 times and EE doesn’t know which questions answer to use. Make sense? The reason the Single family pass works is it doesn’t have this repeating information. So the way I would set this up is remove the ‘Adult 2’, ‘Cadet/ Junior 1’ & ‘Cadet/ Junior 2’ question groups from the Primary Registrant. Then have a single group that can collect all of the information for all of the additional attendees. Using your ‘Cadet/ Junior 1’ as an example, it collects all of the same information as the others, however it also adds a dropdown question for the ‘Entrant Type’, simply add ‘Adult’ as an option for that question -http://take.ms/voZ25 it then covers all additional registrants for that ticket. Then select that single question group for additional attendees, it would look something like this – http://take.ms/l03EN That removes the repeating information from a single attendee and requests the information for all additional attendees. We can then also set tickets up within the Family Pass event to have a minimum (and maximum) qty of 4 meaning a user can only select 4 entrants for that ticket. There is one caveat using this method, the ticket price must be set PER ticket, not the total. As you have purchased a support token, I can go through and set this up on your event so you can see what I mean if you prefer? Or if you’d like me to create a separate event to demonstrate? |

The only issue was that the extra applicants on the FAMILY PASSES need to add the boat name they are on for each and contact details so if anything ever happens to the applicant they know what boat that person was on? so only the boat name is to show up for the other 3 applicants. The first applicant just needs all the boat information added. |
That’s fine, once I’ve set up the additional question group it will work that way, you can ask any number of questions when doing it this way. I have contacted you privately regarding your site though your support token, I’ll continue this there. |
