Delay in email sending

After the registration process is done, emails are being sent to registrant at a very slow rate i.e. approximately 5-15 minutes. I am using Zoho mail to as SMTP client to send the emails. Would really appreciate if you kindly tell me where to look for the solution.

Hi,

It may help to go to Event Espresso > Messages > Message Settings and set the the option for emails to be sent on the same request.

If there’s still a delay after changing the setting there’s likely a delay happening at the email provider’s end.
