Seth, after the change today, the ticket datetimes have changed for the Wasatch Cup and I cant change them back. This is a priority one ticket. -Game 1 needs to be 5-745PM on January 30th |
We have experienced this before and Seth was able to correct. I really think the time selector does not work properly. A user should have the option to use it or not. The slider bars do not correspond with the preferred time. For example, the slider bar says 4AM, but the time shown shows 330PM. |
OMG, now all the tickets are expired and nobody can purchase. PLEASE HELP. |
I think the end date time slider is forcing the begin time slider…. |
FYI, changed the close dates on all tickets to February 1 to allow purchases. But the event times are really jacked…. |
Hi AJ, Can you check in the WordPress > Settings > General and make sure that the timezone setting is set to a city in your timezone? |
Yes, it is correct and set to Denver. |
Josh, Seth wanted me to remind you guys that we are running 4.6 alpha. |
Of note, we had this issue for a while then ran the 4.5 beta and the issue disappeared. |
Also, every time the event is saved, all the times change. Date times, ticket available times, etc. |
Hi AJ, We are not seeing this on our test sites. It may be there’s a plugin installed on your site that’s changing the timezone setting on your server. There are a few WordPress plugins out there that use the date_default_timezone_set() function, which are known to break things in wild ways when the timezone is adjusted in this way. If you deactivate all the other plugins besides Event Espresso 4.6 on your test site, then go to edit a date time, does the issue persist? |
Josh, You nailed it. And now that we got to this point, I remember that is what Seth mentioned the last time this occured. So THANK YOU for finally tracking this down. FWIW, This is the plugin that will wreck your EE4 life! Ultimate WordPress Auction Plugin | Version 3.6.0 | By Nitesh Singh | |
