Hi All,
I am using Event Espresso version 4.8.9.p and WordPress version 4.1.10.
I have made some customization in my site such as changing the text of the buttons for “Register Now”, “Finalize Registration” etc. I have made these changes by creating a site specific plugin by following steps from the documentation.
My question is that now I need to add another event on my site. But I do not want my previous customization to show up for this new event.
Is it possible to maintain customization for a specific event? I was able to maintain CSS changes for one event, but I am not sure how I can do the same for changes such as button texts, fields etc.
I would appreciate any guidance on this.

Hi Amit, your software is out of date. Please update to the current release and you can see changes since your version here:

Messaging changes via a gettext filter in a site specific plugin is a safe way to make those customizations as they won’t be lost on a software update.
However changes to registration checkout will apply to all events since it handles checkout for all events on your site.
If you have edited the button text to be specific to a particular kind of event, then try reversing those changes.
You could then add help messaging in these areas:
1) The event description
2) On the custom questions, you could create a new question group with custom questions and enable that question group for your new event.
