I have a client who needs an events site, and Event Espresso will be perfect, except she wants to be able to somehow allow people to pre-pay for say ten events at a reduced price, and then be able to pick events in the future as they see ones they want to attend. Is there a way to do this?
No, I think I explained badly. It’s like a special deal someone could buy if they really like the events this place has, where they can buy 10 events at once for a discounted price. Then a month from now when they see an even they want to go to, they could redeem one of their 10. Then in a week, hey! They see another neat one they want to go to, so they redeem another of the 10, etc until they have used up the 10 they paid for.
We don’t have a way to do that. The best idea I have for it is one I told a previous customer, but it would require custom development to achieve.
In brief, you would sell an “event” and in the event’s custom email you would generate 10 Social Coupon codes. These codes (Social Coupon (Groupon) addon plugin) provide a 100% discount and are single use only.
That way the user would then find an event they like enter the code and they get the event for free.
The biggest challenge would be the generation of the codes and adding them to the email, but this could be done by a developer familiar enough with Event Espresso.
