When I click Custom Message Templates, then all the way right to copy message (Zoom Approved 2023), then click preview, I see this message below. It is happening with other messages, as well. How can this be fixed? Thank you! Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to a member function get() on null in /home/customer/www/kiros.org/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/db_classes/EE_Base_Class.class.php:363 Stack trace: #0 |

Hi KIROS, so to clarify, that fatal error is happening when you preview a custom message template? Which message template are you duplicating, as in, which message, such as Approved, Ticket Notice, etc.? |
|
Copying from one already in my list of custom, such as Zoom Approved 2023. |

Right, but what is the base message template, as in what type of message, not just a custom one. It’s a TYPE of message. For example: |

Got it. Thank you. |

Is there an update on this? Thank you! |

I’m receiving the same error now when trying to edit existing custom messages. Today I was working on this one: YP Automated Upcoming Event Notification. I receive the error when I try to preview or send myself the message. |
|
Hello, I have upcoming events that I’d like to edit these messages for. Do you have any update? Thank you! |
|
Hello, I haven’t seen a response on this since May 19. Are you able to provide an update? Thank you! |
|
This was given to the developers to be fixed. We will notify you when an update is available that fixes this issue. |

Thank you! |

I was also experiencing the same issue. I noticed today there is a plugin update to version 5.0.7.p. This seems to have resolved my issue. All tests worked as intended, just waiting for a live registration to further confirm resolution. Give it a try and hopefully it works for you too. |

Hi there, Yes, v5.0.7.p has been released with a fix for this, please do let me know if you run into any issues. If you don’t see the update on your site just yet, go to Event Espresso -> General Settings, make no changes and just hit save to force an update check. The update should then show up in the plugin’s menu as normal. |
