Hi,

As per the important note on the documentation ( https://eventespresso.com/wiki/custom-files-addon/) the Custom Files addon is not a plugin and cannot be installed as a plugin.

The installation instructions are found on the documentation as well, but basically you upload the files to your uploads directory via FTP.

Hi,

The file permissions for that directory will not allow you to save files there. If you have access to your server you can try to set the folder directory permissions to 755 via FTP.

If you are not sure what this means or dont have access to change file permissions you will need to speak to your host for assistance.
