I’ve made a custom email and also a custom ticket. My custom ticket is working, but the custom email is not even though on the event it’s been selected to use the new custom email.
If you look in Event Espresso -> Messages -> Custom Message Templates (tab) and then find your custom template listed there, you see the ‘Primary Registrant’ link is grey rather than blue, the grey links indicate inactive contexts, the blue links show active contexts.
