Custom emails not activating

Hi there,

I’ve made a custom email and also a custom ticket. My custom ticket is working, but the custom email is not even though on the event it’s been selected to use the new custom email.

Can you help me with this,

Hi there,

Which message template are you editing? Can you upload a screenshot that showed the page you are customixing the email on?

Are you using the multi event registration add-on and registering onto multiple events or just a single event?

Trying to edit the “Ticket Notice”

Not using the multiple event plugin, just single event.

Ok, you are editing the ‘Primary Registrant’ context, which isn’t active –

Sounds like you want to be editing the ‘Registrant’ context.

Each message type can have multiple ‘contexts’ in which its used, for details on how to work with message contexts see:

If you look in Event Espresso -> Messages -> Custom Message Templates (tab) and then find your custom template listed there, you see the ‘Primary Registrant’ link is grey rather than blue, the grey links indicate inactive contexts, the blue links show active contexts.
