I have my install setup for the United Kingdom and most things are working in pound as expected. However, the currency symbol in – Event Espresso > Transaction > Reports is still showing as dollars. Also – I see you have a default list for American states – is there one for UK counties or do they need to added by hand? |
Hi Calex, Could you double-check that you have United Kingdom set in Event Espresso –> General Settings on the Your Organization page? That should correct the reporting issue since it looks for the country that is set their. Next, we do have the counties available. Just download the UK state and province pack from this page: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/install-new-state-province-packs/ Then install and activate through your plugins screen in your WP dashboard. — |

Espresso –> Settings -> General Settings Country set to United Kingdom – The provinces pack installed and worked. Espresso –> Transactions -> Reports – Still showing dollars but overview displays pound. |

Hi Calex, Could you provide us with a screenshot from the address on the your organization page? https://eventespresso.com/wiki/troubleshooting-checklist/#screenshots You mentioned that you have two testing sites. Both are up to date, right? — |

They are not updated because they don’t have the key as recommended:

Hi Calex, When an issue is reported with Event Espresso, then we’ll check against the current software. If you have not updated in some time, then please remove the software through the WP plugins screen and then download a new copy from your account and upload and activate it. https://eventespresso.com/users/creativealex/#ee4-downloads — |

Update I have installed the latest version and it fixed the currency issue. However, I did have some funny issues when updating – error messages – it wasn’t particularly a smooth update. I will keep an eye on it, thanks. |
Hello, do you remember what those errors were? If you are uncertain about the install, then you could remove Event Espresso 4 and then install a fresh copy by downloading a new version from your account page: https://eventespresso.com/users/creativealex/#downloads This only removes and replaces the plugin folder. Your events, attendees, venues, etc, will still be there after the re-install. — |

The plugin was disabled/removed and then uploaded as a zip through the plugin page. I think I know what the problem is regarding the errors… |
Thanks for sharing an update. We do recommend using a current version of PHP. You could repurpose this sample message and share with your web host: https://gist.github.com/lorenzocaum/de219a46747fd847d994 — |
