Credit card Error

Getting an error code on a credit card transaction. Most are working but one is getting response code 3 sub code 1

Number of line items not allowed.

How can I fix this?

Also, is there a way for me to take credit card over the phone and apply it to their registration?

Which gateway are you using?
Yes, you can apply a transaction to an attendee’s registration in the admin.
