It’s come to my attention that the report I’ve been getting from Event Espresso about how much people have paid for my program last week and how much their actual credit cards have been charged are way off in many cases. It looks to mainly be a problem when people registered more than one person on a single credit card. I just got a call from a nice guy who attended last week with 8 people from his company. He was kind enough to let me know that his card was only charged for one person, but my event espresso report showed the equivalent of 8 charges. Please help!

Hi Zeev,

We’ll need some more information to help you troubleshoot.

What version of Event Espresso are you using and are there any other payment options enabled other than Authorizenet?

Also, was this a group registration?

I just verified that we are not using Authorize.net – it’s actually NMI Merchant Services. Everything is working ok on their end – we’ve been doing manual charges through their portal today to make up for the missed amounts.

We believe the issue happens when someone uses a single credit card to register multiple individuals.

The NMI Merchant Services is integrated with Infusionsoft (you can see in the above information that we are using the Infusionsoft plugin that you guys had available).

Thanks for your help, Lorenzo.

Hi Zeev,

Are payments for NMI Merchant Services being processed through the Infusionsoft payment gateway option or was a separate payment gateway developed and then its routing information into Infusionsoft?

Also, could you upgrade your software to the current release of Event Espresso 3?

Hi Lorenzo, the payments for NMI are being processed through the Infusionsoft payment gateway option.

Thanks for the info on the upgrade.

Hi Zeev,

I think I know what is happening here. Could you follow up with us here?

support @ eventespresso.com

We would like to get some information about some of those invoices that are showing in Infusionsoft.

Thanks

Lorenzo
