Creating custom templates for messages

Hi there, we’re having an issue in creating and editing custom templates for an event in the messages system. I am the overall admin of the system and one of my users is trying to edit the messsages. They cant seem to create a new template and if they try to click through to edit them, it refuses access.

I have allowed all permissions in the users section (using members) and have eventually granted him admin access but he still cant edit them- any ideas?

Hi there,

What specific error does it show when he tries to access them?

When you say all permissions, are those EE permissions (the permissions prefixed with ee_)?

Which role does the user have currently?

It comes up as “you do not have access to this path ” (or similar)

All EE permissions are setup under an event organizer profile which he has

Hmm, strange.

I spent some time checking this and the only cap I can that is required is ee_edit_message.

Can I take a look at the user account in question?

If so you can send temp login details using this form:
