The PayPal integration is working fine with my website. The only issue that I am having is that after the payment is going through, I’m getting an error that says:

“We are sorry, we are experiencing temporary difficulties. Please try again later. If this error occurred while making a payment, avoid duplicate payments by checking your Account overview before resending a payment.

For some browsers, this problem can be resolved by clearing or deleting cookies.

Message 3514”

Please help. I want to resolve this issue by stopping this prompt.

Is this happening to all of your customers or just for you? Have you tried the suggested recommendation of “clearing or deleting cookies” in your browser?

It is happening to all of my customers. We even tried deleting cookies. Also using both mac and pc’s using Firefox, IE and Chrome. Any suggestions?

Hi,

This is an error message from PayPal. As far as I can tell it means they tried to process the payment but have not or cannot clear it – this is hard to clarify as the PayPal error code is not on the PayPal website…

I would advise you to speak to PayPal regarding this issue as it is likely account based rather than from Event Espresso.

Thanks for the quick response. I reached out to PayPay and they can’t seem to produce the same error that everyone else is getting. They are just pointing the finger to my hosting or the plugin.

I recently changed my main url. I originally had my website straightlineprodev.com and changed it to ceodentist.com with the old domain forwarding to the new one. Everything works perfectly, I get all of the notifications, even the payment goes through on the PayPal side. Still getting that cookie error.

Do you think It might solve the issue if we change the main domain for event espresso? (Change it from straightlineprodev.com to ceodentist.com) If so, how do I do go about doing that?

Thanks

Hi Wesley,

I tried to view this site straightlineprodev.com and was redirected to the new one.
