Hi, I’d like to check if my client’s requirement can be met:
Upon user register for an event, (it will be an offline bank transfer for payment) the confirmation email shall be sent to this user (and other registrants if it’s a group booking), that event instructor (different for each event) and my client as site admin.

Is this possible?
Thank you!
BK

Hi there,

Yes, it’s possible, but it also depends on your event set up as to how you achieve this so we’ll need a couple more details.

Upon user register for an event, (it will be an offline bank transfer for payment)

By default, when a user selects an offline payment method their registration remains as ‘Pending Payment’ until the admin applies a payment in the admin and updates the status.

Are you wanting the registrations to apply to the sold values on the event even before the payment has come through?

the confirmation email shall be sent to this user (and other registrants if it’s a group booking)

The confirmation email would be the ‘Registration Approved’ message, this is sent to all registrants and you can set the Event Admin message context to also send to another email but, how are you setting the ‘Event Instructor’ on the event?

Will they have a user account that is set as the event author?

You can setup custom message templates and hardcode the email address for the instructor into each of those templates, then select a specific message template to be used on specific events but there may be a way to automate that without having to select the template depending on how the instructor is assigned to the event.
