First of all thanks for the amazing plugins! Really great!
I am putting together a ticket booking system for a museum.
The museum is open 7 days per week and runs tours 4 times per day – 11:25, 12:25, 13:55, 14:55.
They would like to sell tickets for these tours.
The ticket prices are :
Adult £7.75
Child/Concession £5.70
Family (2 Adults & 1 Child) £18.55
Family (2 Adults & 2 Children) £27.75
Family (2 Adults & 3 Children) £29.35
The tours can only have a maximum of 18 people attending, including children – so the last Family ticket above actually counts as 5 people.
So to recap – we have 4 tours, running 7 days per week, with 5 ticket choices, with a maximum capacity of 18 people.
After reading the documentation on the Event Espresso site – I purchased the EE3 Business License package (https://eventespresso.com/product/business-license/) as I thought it provided everything I needed.
Is it possible to accomplish this with the package I purchased?
Thanks for the comments. We’re working really hard.
How far along are you with installing and setting up EE3. In general, Event Espresso 4 supports more complex ticketing scenarios. Event Espresso 3 won’t do what you want very well, but Event Espresso 4 will do it much better.
For example:
The maximum capacity should be configured on the datetime. So, no matter the combination of tickets, the datetime will manage the tickets that can be purchased.
You can use Ticket Bundles for the family ticket packs (https://eventespresso.com/wiki/create-ticket-bundle/) or you can leave each type of ticket as just one ticket and let them choose as many as they want/need.
You have access to Event Espresso 4 core in your account.
